Networking Activity: Historic Old Quebec Tour & Lunch Cruise $225.00

DESCRIPTION:
The best of both worlds! An historic Old Québec tour, the first North American city to be included on UNESCO's prestigious world heritage list, and a lunch cruise on the majestic St. Lawrence River. Transfer from the hotel on motor coach to the dock - jump on board the river boat for a lunch cruise (2-course group menu: main course, dessert, tea/coffee). This excursion is a rendezvous with history and a simple lesson in geography. Feel the breeze and admire the landscape - cruise duration 1.5 hour. Following the cruise the historical tour will continue - part walking and part on the motor coach. Take a step back in time and visit the only walled city north of Mexico. This enclave of cobbled lanes and winding streets weaves together monuments, museums, churches, shops and outdoor cafes. The tour gives an overlook of the Fortifications, the Petit-Champlain district and Place Royale, the cradle of French civilization in North America. NOTE: - The tour will take place rain or shine. Part of the tour will be walking (cobblestones streets). - This tour must depart hotel at 10:45am, boarding at 11:15 for the lunch cruise, return to dock at 1pm, continuation of the historic tour. -

Part of the tour will be walking on cobblestone streets. Comfortable shoes recommended.
Lunch will be served on one of the boat deck (this part of the tour is not exclusive to CU attendees)

Networking Activity: French Canadian Evening at the Sugar Shack $262.57

DESCRIPTION:
This is a must do! Experience a true maple sugar farm! Celebrate the traditions of Québec in an evening that showcases our folklore
and culture by joining in a hearty French Canadian feast. This charming sugar shack is located in the countryside,
on a sprawling property with over 12 000 white maple trees. Participants will be provided with a tour of site.
Let’s begin the evening in the most French Canadian way with a caribou cocktail! A Caribou drink is a uniquely
Québecois combination of red wine, white wine, raspberry wine, maple syrup and whisky. It warms the heart with its
sweet and hearty flavor, and brings a smile to even the most serious faces!
Folkloric musical artists dressed in traditional costume will play throughout dinner. This folklore show-animation
consists of traditional music, songs, dances, humor and other fantasies.
Sample Dinner Menu (family style service): French Canadian pea soup, homemade bread, beans, crispy salted
pork, maple ham, oven baked omelet, meat pie, potatoes, homemade tomato chutney, maple syrup, homemade
pancakes, tea, coffee, herb tea... and maple taffy on the snow after the meal. A 1/2 bottle of wine is included in the
meal.
